My name is Meeko Kittika, I’m a nurse and I live in South Manchester.
I am currently working part-time night shifts on an ad hoc basis for Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals with various agencies, in the fields of Acute Medical, Respiratory and Care of the Elderly nursing.
Responsibilities include day-to-day care and assessment of patients, looking after the ward at nights and weekends in absence of managers.
Other skills include preparation of training materials and provision of in-house training of nursing staff, mentorship of student nurses.
Currently finishing off self-financed study with The Open University to top-up my nursing diploma to a degree over the next few months.
